Legendary American boxer Mike Tyson may have given UFC bantamweight contender Cody Garbrandt a shout-out for his devastating second-round “buzzer-beater” knockout of Raphael Assuncao at UFC 250 on Saturday – but that did not stop the 28-year-old from laying into arch-nemesis and fellow former champion TJ Dillashaw.
When asked about a potential rematch at the post-fight press conference, “No Love” Garbrandt (12-3) tore into former teammate and opponent TJ Dillashaw for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) last year.
Garbrandt broke a three-fight losing streak after the Assuncao win – with two of his three prior losses being first-round knockouts by Dillashaw (16-4) in 2018 and 2019.

Dillashaw has not fought in more than a year, losing to Henry Cejudo via first-round TKO before being suspended by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) and surrendering his bantamweight title in March of last year.
“We're talking about TJ, who's still suspended, but that's a fight that I would like to get back. We all knew what he was on, what he was doing. It took so many times for him to skate by Usada so many times, unfortunately, but he's serving his sentence. He's gonna have to live with that. He has a child that knows his dad is a cheater. The whole world looked up to him,” Garbrandt said.

“I kind of feel bad that he has no confidence and has to use these aids as a fighter. If he works his way back up there, it's open doors, let's get it.”
