ONE Championship star Aung La N Sang tests positive for coronavirus

Aung La N Sang has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The 35-year-old ONE Championship double belt holder – middleweight and light heavyweight – made the announcement on an Instagram post on Friday.

“My family and I will be quarantining ourselves for the next 14 days,” he wrote on a post which also showed his test results for Covid-19. N Sang lives and trains in Florida which reported a record number of cases of Covid-19 on Thursday with more than 10,000, which is the biggest one day increase since the pandemic started.

“I had a slight fever, congestion, body ache and fatigue on the first two days,” said Burmese-Amercian N Sang. “Besides that I am blessed that my whole family is doing well. We are really in this together and we will get over this.”

N Sang trains out of Sanford MMA in Fort Lauderdale, Florida alongside the likes of UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, upcoming UFC 251 challenger Gilbert Burns, and Japanese prospect Takashi Sato, who fought at last week’s UFC Vegas 4 card.
