The Cameroonian-Frenchman (15-3) had fellow UFC fighter Dan Ige hit him multiple times in the stomach, and appeared to be completely fine. While featherweight Ige only clocks in at “50k”, as is his nickname, the punches have some serious power to them.
The two train at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas.
Although Ngannou was beaten by Miocic (20-3) at UFC 220 in January of 2018, he is favoured to win this time around. Ngannou followed up his loss to the American by losing to Derrick Lewis, but has since rebounded with four straight victories, all first round TKOs or KOs.
The video is an improvement over the video from last June when Ngannou took two shots from 125-pounder Aupuni Pagaoa before tapping.
