Dan “50k” Ige called out “The Korean Zombie” Jung Chan-sung after a stunning 22-second, one-punch KO of Gavin Tucker at UFC Vegas 21 on Saturday night.

The 29-year-old American lived up to his nickname – and is likely to get that US$50,000 performance bonus – after securing the sixth fastest knockout in UFC featherweight history.

“I don’t even know what happened, I blacked out,” Ige (15-3) told Daniel Cormier in his post-fight interview, before watching the action back on the monitor backstage at the Apex facility.

“These guys were counting me out, they said I didn’t possess the power,” he added. “I got the clean kill, right hand landed, here I am standing in the winners’ circle.

“I would love to face the Zombie. I’ve been trying to fight this guy forever, he says he doesn’t know who I am, please man, give me the Zombie.”
