Zhang Weili is having none of Mike Tyson’s predictions for her upcoming title fight against Rose Namajunas at UFC 261.

The Chinese UFC strawweight champion responded to legendary boxer Tyson, who said she should be scared of Namajunas (9-4) concerning their April 24 fight which is set to take place in front of a full arena crowd in Jacksonville, Florida.

“Tyson has no right to comment because he knows nothing about MMA. He knows nothing about me,” Zhang told CGTN. “I will not be affected, but do my best instead, and I suggest Tyson try MMA himself.”

Tyson made the comments alongside UFC president Dana White, who was a guest on Tyson’s podcast Hotboxin’.

Zhang holds a 21-1 record in MMA, and is on a 5-0 run in the UFC. In March 2020 she beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk in a remarkable, five-round tilt which many believe may be one of the greatest UFC fights of all-time.
