Zhang Weili has promised to return stronger from her first-round head-kick KO by Rose Namajunas at UFC 261 – and warned the new strawweight champion she is coming for the belt.
The 31-year-old Chinese star (21-2) suffered her first defeat in the UFC – and first since her debut fight in 2013 – in last Saturday’s co-main event in Jacksonville, Florida.
But “Magnum” could get a quick chance to avenge her loss, with UFC president Dana White and Namajunas indicating after the fight they are willing to accept Zhang’s wishes for a rematch.

“Good morning everyone. I am back on my feet again,” Zhang said in a video posted to her TikTok account.
“All the things that happened in our lives are good things. There is no good or bad about the past. The biggest enemy in life is yourself. The person that is most difficult for you to face is yourself, the person that is most difficult to conquer is also yourself.
