UFC makes Zhang Weili, Rose Namajunas strawweight title rematch official for Madison Square Garden

Zhang Weili has got her wish, with the UFC confirming an immediate rematch for the strawweight title against Rose Namajunas on November 6.
The Lithuanian-American “Thug” and China’s “Magnum” will contest the UFC 268 co-main event at Madison Square Garden in New York, where welterweight champion Kamaru Usman will headline in another rematch against Colby Covington.
The stacked card also features former interim lightweight champ Justin Gaethje against former challenger Michael Chandler, while former middleweight king Luke Rockhold makes his return against the surging Sean Strickland.
Former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar will look to defend his No 8 bantamweight ranking against 13th-ranked Marlon “Chito” Vera.
The card will also feature former featherweight champ Germaine de Randamie in a bantamweight bout against No 4-ranked Irene Aldana, and Al Iaquinta against Bobby Green in lightweight action.
The 32-year-old requested an immediate rematch against Namajunas following UFC 261 in April, where she was booed by the crowd in Jacksonville, Florida.
