Angela Lee says ONE Championship judges ‘need to be held responsible’ after brother Christian’s title loss
- Atomweight champ hits out after her brother’s controversial unanimous decision defeat by Ok Rae-yoon
- ‘By going down the list of ONE‘s judging criteria, it is clear that Christian did more to win the fight,’ she says

Angela Lee has insisted ONE Championship’s judges “need to be held responsible” after her brother Christian Lee lost his lightweight title in a controversial unanimous decision against Ok Rae-yoon.
The unheralded South Korean (16-3), who stunned former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez in April, shocked the world again by upsetting “The Warrior” Lee (15-4) in last Friday’s Singapore main event.
Lee has called for a review by the Asian martial arts promotion’s competition committee, which this month upheld Ham Seo-hee’s split decision win against Denice Zamboanga.
“Many people are commenting on my earlier remarks regarding Denice and Ham’s fight,” Angela Lee, ONE’s atomweight champion, wrote in an Instagram post. “I stand by what I said which was, ‘Never leave the fight in the hands of the judges.’
“With that being said, right is right and wrong is wrong. An interviewer asked me my opinion on who won that fight and I had no problem saying I thought Denice won, even though it was pretty close. The fight between Christian and Ok Rae-yoon was completely different.
