It wasn’t so long ago that ONE Championship featherweight king Thanh Le was calling out Christian Lee. But now he has admitted he feels some sympathy for the former lightweight champ.
“The Warrior” Lee (15-4) suffered a controversial unanimous decision loss to South Korea’s Ok Rae-yoon (16-3) last month, a result that was upheld after a formal review by the Asian martial arts promotion.
The 23-year-old had demanded the decision be overturned, and his famous fighting sister – ONE’s atomweight champ, Angela Lee (10-2) – also called for the judges to be held responsible.

ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong also backed Lee, saying he believes that “the judges got it wrong”, and now Vietnamese-American Le (12-2) has given his verdict.

“That was interesting to watch,” Le told the Post. “I kinda have to agree with Christian and his sister, all the details they were talking about the scoring. They broke it down and talked about effective striking, effective grappling, the threats to finish the fight.
