There may be two title fights on Saturday’s blockbuster UFC 268 card from Madison Square Garden, but you wouldn’t put is past Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler stealing the show.

Former interim lightweight champ Gaethje will take on former Bellator king and UFC title challenger Chandler in a showdown of two of the most heavy-hitting strikers at 155 pounds in New York.

And ONE Championship star Eddie Alvarez (30-8), who has beaten both men in his time across Bellator and the UFC, has weighed in on who he thinks will get their hand raised.

“True pick ’em,” Alvarez wrote, in reply to a tweet from No 13-ranked UFC welterweight Sean Brady, who had asked for people’s predictions on the fight.

“Gun to my head I’m leaning Justin because of the leg kicks and the fact Mike doesn’t have a great deal of D [defence]. Mike’s easiest path is the ground.

“He could dominate JG there. But it will stay standing and I’d say the second most violent man gets it done. JG KO.”
