Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev picked up a devastating knockout win over Timofey Nastyukhin on Friday night – but it did not come without a price.

“Dagi” and Nastyukhin met on the stacked ONE: Winter Warriors card in Singapore. The bout was a rematch of a 2018 fight that the former won by first-round knockout.

The second time around, the Dagestan-born Turk once again won by knockout, but Nastyukhin put up a much better fight, landing plenty of meaningful shots of his own.

By the time the third round began, the canvas was coated with blood, and it still looked like anybody’s fight, but Dagi (9-2) was ultimately able to put a stamp on things with a pair of vicious right hands in succession.

The fight, which felt like ONE Championship’s answer to the recent brawl between Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler in the UFC, was Dagi’s first since he lost a decision to Christian Lee in October of 2019.

Now back in the win column, the 27-year-old seemingly has his sights set on South Korea’s Ok Rae-yoon, who won the lightweight title with a controversial decision win over Christian Lee at ONE: Revolution in September.
