ONE Championship flyweight king Adriano Moraes picked up the “Upset of the Year” at Saturday night’s 2021 World MMA Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

The 32-year-old Brazilian (19-3) won the award for his stunning second-round TKO of Demetrious Johnson in April, when he became the first man to knock out the legendary former UFC champion.

Moraes saw off some stiff competition, including ONE lightweight champion Ok Rae-yoon’s shocking unanimous decision over former UFC lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez.
