ONE Championship: Fabricio Andrade finishes Li Kai Wen, calls for bantamweight title shot
- ‘Wonder Boy’ gets first-round TKO against UFC-bound ‘Underdog’ on ONE: Winter Warriors II undercard
- Brazilian repeatedly screams ‘belt’ as he celebrates third straight win in Asian martial arts promotion

Fabricio Andrade made another statement, first physically by finishing UFC-bound Chinese prospect Li Kai Wen, and then verbally by calling for a shot at the ONE Championship bantamweight title.
“Belt!” screamed Andrade repeatedly after securing an impressive first-round TKO against Li on the undercard of ONE’s Winter Warriors II card in Singapore, which was recorded on December 3 and broadcast on Friday night in Asia.
The 24-year-old Brazilian (6-2), who trains out of the Marrok Force gym in Thailand, peppered Li (10-5) with knees to the body, before going up top to the jaw and staggering “The Underdog”.
Li, who had tried to use his wrestling at the start of the fight to no avail, backed up against the fence and circled away, but Andrade started teeing off on him and dropped him, with the referee stepping in at the 4:41 mark.
Andrade is ranked No 4 in ONE’s stacked bantamweight division, having finished Mark Abelardo Fairtex with a first-round rear-naked choke, before a unanimous decision over Japan’s Shoko Sato.
He could find himself waiting for a while when it comes to fighting for the title, however, with a long queue forming ahead of him.
