ONE Championship: Bibiano Fernandes vs John Lineker, Superbon vs Marat Grigorian title fights set for March
- Bantamweight MMA title bout rescheduled for Lights Out card in Singapore, after Lineker’s recent Covid-19 positive
- Featherweight kick-boxing title fight added to martial arts promotion’s blockbuster 10th anniversary event, ONE X

ONE Championship is hoping the third time will be the charm for a planned bantamweight title fight between Bibiano Fernandes and John Lineker.
The 41-year-old Fernandes – the promotion’s long-reigning bantamweight king – has been set to defend his title against his fellow Brazilian Lineker, 31, on two previous occasions to no avail.
The pair are now slated to fight at ONE: Lights Out in March 11, sources confirmed to the Post. The rescheduled bout was first reported by MMAFighting.com.
Fernandes (24-4) and Lineker (34-9) were initially slated to meet at an event in December of 2021. That event had to be postponed because of a spike in Covid-19 cases in Singapore.
The pair were then rebooked for February 11’s ONE: Bad Blood card, but the match-up once again fell through when Lineker tested positive for Covid-19.
Fernandes initially hoped to take on a short-notice opponent on that card. Instead, “The Flash” returned to his adopted home in British Columbia, Canada and will make the long flight back to Singapore to meet Lineker next month.
ONE Championship has also announced a featherweight kick-boxing title fight between Thai champion Superbon Singha Mawynn and Armenian-Belgian challenger Marat Grigorian for its blockbuster 10th anniversary event, ONE X, on March 26 in Singapore.
