ONE Championship: Stamp Fairtex aims to beat Angela Lee, reclaim kick-boxing and Muay Thai titles for three-sport glory
- ‘If I win this fight, my main focus later after that is to get my [other] belts back,’ Stamp says ahead of atomweight MMA title fight with Lee
- ‘Many people say it’s not possible, but that’s my dream and I need to make it come true’, Thai 24-year-old says

Walk through the doors of the famed Fairtex training centre in Pattaya, Thailand, and you will discover an impressive collection of championship belts and baubles on display. Look closely enough and you will notice that one trophy case is conspicuously empty. That is by design.
The empty space is reserved for the belt that Stamp Fairtex, the gym’s brightest star, hopes to win when she challenges Angela Lee for atomweight gold at ONE X on March 26 in Singapore.
“All of my ONE Championship belts, I keep in Fairtex,” Stamp told the Post through a translator this week. “They already built a special cabinet for an MMA world championship for me.”
Stamp is no stranger to championship glory. The 24-year-old, who was born into a family of fighters on a fruit farm in Thailand’s Rayong Province, previously held ONE Championship’s atomweight kick-boxing and Muay Thai titles.
While she ultimately lost those belts – both by way of controversial decisions – she recently picked up another when she submitted India’s Ritu Phogat to win the ONE atomweight Grand Prix in December.
Yet if Stamp defeats Lee it would overshadow all of her previous accomplishments, as it would make her the first fighter in ONE Championship history to win undisputed titles in kick-boxing, Muay Thai and MMA.
“It’s a special fight,” she said. “I was a former champion for both Muay Thai and kick-boxing and then I turned to MMA to take Angela’s belt. My dream is coming true.”
