ONE Championship: Ritu Phogat removed from atomweight rankings in latest update, Alyona Rassohyna and Jihin Radzuan enter

- Tang Kai surges up featherweight rankings after knocking out No 1 contender Kim Jae-woong in Singapore

There have been some sweeping changes to the ONE Championship rankings – and Indian atomweight Ritu Phogat is unlikely to be happy about her new station.
The Asian martial arts promotion’s official rankings were updated on Thursday, following last Saturday’s blockbuster ONE X event in Singapore.
The 27-year-old Phogat was not in action at the event, but was bounced from her division’s top-5, clearing space for Ukraine’s Alyona Rassohyna and Malaysia’s Jihin Radzuan to debut at Nos 4 and 5 respectively.
The 27-year-old “Indian Tigress” (7-2) has not fought since she was submitted by No 1 atomweight contender Stamp Fairtex in late 2021.
The 31-year-old Rassohyna (13-5) is also riding a loss to Stamp, having given up a decision to the Thai striker in September of last year.
Radzuan (8-2) was back in action on the ONE X undercard, defeating formerly unbeaten Japanese judoka Itsuki Hirata by decision. The 23-year-old is now on a three-fight streak.

The atomweight division is still ruled by Canadian-American grappling specialist Angela Lee (11-2), who returned from a two-year hiatus to submit Stamp in the ONE X main event.
