ONE Championship 161 line-up revealed; Nong-O vs Liam Harrison added to Prime Video card
- ONE 161 is slated for August 27 in Singapore, and will mark the Asian promotion’s debut on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service
- Card features an Adriano Moraes vs Demetrious Johnson rematch, and appearances from Rodtang and Buchecha
ONE Championship has unveiled the complete line-up for ONE 161, its first event on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.
ONE 161 is slated for the morning of August 27 in Singapore – the evening of Friday August 26 stateside.
The Asian martial arts promotion revealed the line-up for the event on social media on Friday, and fans on both sides of the world are likely to be pleased.
The event, as we have known for some time, will be headlined by a flyweight MMA title fight between champion Adriano Moraes and challenger Demetrious Johnson.
Former UFC champ Johnson will attempt to make good on his second crack at Moraes, after being knocked out by the Brazilian last year.
Beyond the main event, ONE 161 will also feature an anticipated bantamweight Muay Thai title fight between Thailand’s Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and British bruiser Liam Harrison.
Nong-O is considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in Muay Thai, while Harrison is considered one of the most aggressive and powerful forces in the sport.
