Demetrious Johnson put an exclamation point on ONE Championship’s Prime Video debut by winning the flyweightM MMA title with a highlight-reel knockout of Adriano Moares on Saturday morning in Singapore.
ONE made a quick turnaround from Friday night’s dramatic ONE 160 card, where two new champions were crowned in Tang Kai and Christian Lee.
A huge rematch between Moraes and the legendary Johnson topped the ONE on Prime Video 1 bill on Amazon’s streaming service, which was being shown in US prime time from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Johnson exacted revenge for his knockout defeat by Moraes in April 2021, landing a walk-off flying knee in the fourth round and finishing the Brazilian to win the belt.
