ONE Championship: Superbon faces Tayfun Ozcan in Singapore after Chingiz Allazov suffers injury
- Featherweight kickboxing champ was originally set to meet Grand Prix winner Allazov on October 1
- Former title challenger Marat Grigorian, who was slated to fight Ozcan, will now meet Jamal Yusupov

Superbon Singha Mawynn has a new opponent for ONE Championship’s Prime Video 2 card.
The Thai, who rules over ONE’s featherweight kickboxing division, was originally set to meet Georgia-born Belarusian challenger Chingiz Allazov at the event, slated for October 1 in Singapore.
But after Allazov suffered an injury in training, Superbon has agreed to a short-notice title defence against Dutch-Turkish contender Tayfun Ozcan, who had been slated to meet Armenia’s Marat Grigorian on the event’s undercard.
With Ozcan promoted to a title fight with Superbon, Grigorian will now meet Russia’s Jamal Yusupov, who was not originally expected to compete at the event. Despite the short-notice circumstances, the bout will still be contested at featherweight.
A source confirmed the changes to the Post after an initial report from Thai publication Daily News.
Superbon, 32, was last in action at ONE X on March 27 in Singapore, when he defended his featherweight belt with an impressive decision victory over Grigorian.

Before beating Grigorian, the Thai knocked out Armenian-Italian kickboxing legend Giorgio Petrosyan to win the featherweight division’s vacant title. He is considered one of the top strikers in the world today.
