The Lee family have reportedly “permanently closed” their United MMA Hawaii gym following the death of Victoria Lee aged 18.
The ONE Championship atomweight, who went 3-0 in her brief career, died on December 26 in Hawaii. Her death was confirmed on Saturday by her elder sister Angela Lee, who is ONE’s atomweight MMA champion.
Combat sports podcast host Todd Atkins tweeted on Sunday that United MMA had sent out notices to members, stating that “all memberships will be cancelled, and students will no longer be billed moving forward”.
The description on the United MMA’s official Instagram page was also changed to “permanently closed”.
