ExclusiveONE Championship: Stamp Fairtex faces Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak in shake-up, as Anissa Meksen denies illness
- Jaroonsak steps in on short notice to face Stamp in a strawweight kick-boxing bout at Fight Night 6 in Bangkok
- Meksen’s withdrawal from mixed rules fight with Stamp takes another twist as she posts on Instagram

Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak will step in as a late replacement to face Stamp Fairtex in a strawweight kick-boxing bout at ONE Fight Night 6 in Bangkok on Saturday, a source has told the Post.
Stamp’s original opponent, Anissa Meksen, was a no-show at Thursday’s official weigh-ins and hydration tests, having also missed Wednesday’s press conference, and was absent again at Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins and face-offs, having already left Bangkok.
Supergirl’s scheduled foe, Ekaterina Vandaryeva, had missed weight on Thursday for their strawweight Muay Thai fight, and a catchweight was not agreed with Supergirl – despite the two facing off at the Impact Arena on Friday.
Meksen’s absence from fight week in Bangkok earlier took another twist on another dramatic day, as she posted on Instagram to deny she was sick or overweight.
Officials had said the 34-year-old French-Algerian striker was not well when she did not show up for this week’s press conference at the W Bangkok hotel.

Stamp was there, and also passed hydration and made weight at the Best Western Plus Wanda Grand Hotel, before taking to the stage at this morning’s ceremonial weigh-ins, despite not having an opponent to face off with.
ONE officials had told the Post they were still hoping to find a late-notice replacement to face the 25-year-old Thai in a mixed rules bout, alternating between rounds of MMA and Muay Thai.
