ONE Championship: Ok Rae-yoon to fight Lowen Tynanes at US debut in Colorado
- Former champion Ok will look to rebound from title loss to Christian Lee against long-time contender Tynanes on May 5
- ONE’s first event on US soil features three title fights and appearances from some of the promotion’s biggest names

Ok Rae-yoon will begin his climb back to title contention at ONE Championship Fight Night 10.
The South Korean, who held the promotion’s lightweight MMA title until last August, will take on American Lowen Tynanes at the May 5 event in Denver, Colorado, a source told the Post.
The event will be ONE’s first on US soil.

Ok (16-4) lost his title to Christian Lee in the main event of ONE 160, suffering a second-round TKO loss. It was the pair’s second meeting, after Ok took a contentious unanimous decision – and the lightweight belt – from Lee in September of 2021.
Despite his loss to Lee, Ok remains ONE’s No 1-ranked lightweight contender. The 31-year-old earned his position with victories over former ONE featherweight champion Marat Gafurov and former UFC and Bellator lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez in his first two fights with the promotion.
Hawaii’s Tynanes (11-1) has long been considered one of ONE’s most promising lightweights, but had his momentum slowed by a split-decision loss to Gafurov in 2020. He has also been hindered by long stretches of inactivity – due primarily to back problems – having fought just three times since 2016.

However, the 32 finally seems to be picking up speed. His last fight, a bloody split-decision win over South Korea’s Dae Sung-park in Manila, Philippines, was just three months ago.
