The line-up for ONE Championship Fight Night 8 is coming together, and it looks like it will be a great viewing experience for fans watching live in Singapore and on screens around the world.

The March 25 card will be topped by three champion versus champion title fights.

In the main event, long absent heavyweight MMA king Arjan Bhullar will take on Anatoly Malykhin, who claimed the division’s interim title in Bhullar’s stead. The co-headlining attraction will see flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon battle Superlek Kiatmoo9 for kickboxing gold, with atomweight Muay Thai champ Allycia Hellen Rodrigues attempting to defend her belt against interim queen Janet Todd before that.

While those fights – and an atomweight MMA clash between Itsuki Hirata and Ham Seo-hee – have been public knowledge for some time, the rest of the card was a mystery until quite recently.

That has changed over the last week, as the promotion added a host of new matchups to the card, including appearances from former title challengers and champions.

Chief among the new additions is a strawweight MMA clash between former champion Alex Silva – still one of the division’s top contenders – and Keito Yamakita.

40-year-old Brazilian Silva will look to rebound from a split decision loss to surging Cuban contender Gustavo Balart in his last fight. His 26-year-old foe will be making his ONE debut after a 7-0 start to his pro career and a title win in Pancrase, a storied promotion in his native Japan.
