ONE Championship Friday Fights 11: Hong Kong’s Yu Yau Pui scores second US$10,000 bonus on action-packed card

- Four other fighters received bonuses, including co-main event winner ET Tded99, who knocked out Apiwat Sor Somnuk in 37 seconds

Hong Kong’s Yu Yau Pui was among five bonus winners at the ONE Championship Friday Fights 11 card in Bangkok, Thailand’s hallowed Lumpinee Stadium.
The 30-year-old atomweight Muay Thai fighter returned to action against Devina Martin – the sister of ONE strawweight contender Diandra Martin – and won the fight by third-round TKO after injuring her foe’s leg with a procession of chopping kicks.
She was the first fighter on the card to receive a 350,000 baht (US$10,000) post-fight bonus from ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong. It was a familiar feeling for the Hongkonger, who also earned a bonus for her second-round knockout of Thailand’s TheStar Sitcho at ONE Friday Fights 3 in February.
“I never dreamed of being on this stage,” she said in her post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson, admitting that she endured a period of depression between her two ONE fights in Lumpinee. “I just don’t believe this where I belong – I have a lot of doubts about my ability. This time I proved it again.”
It was a star-making performance for the Muay Thai fighter, who went on to thank Chatri for giving her another opportunity.
“This place is not just full of excitement and entertainment, this place is full of inspiration and passion, and you make us believe that our dreams can actually come true,” she said. “Thank you so much for this opportunity.”

Thailand’s ET Tded99 also received a bonus for stopping Apiwat Sor Somnuk with a knee just 37 seconds into the card’s co-main event. The win, contested at a 130-pound catchweight, marked a successful ONE debut for the Muay Thai fighter.
