ONE Championship: Arjan Bhullar warns ‘clown’ Anatoly Malykhin ‘you’ll answer for everything’
- Heavyweight champ insists he will show interim king ‘there are levels to this game’ in title unification grudge match
- ‘He wore the red nose and the big shoes and made a lot of noise but there’s only one true champion,’ Bhullar says

Arjan Bhullar has fired back at Anatoly Malykhin ahead of their ONE Championship title unification grudge match in Bangkok next weekend.
ONE’s heavyweight MMA champion will face interim king Malykhin at ONE Friday Fights 22 on June 23, in a match-up that has been 18 months in the making.
After several false starts, with the fight cancelled twice in the past nine months and lots of bad blood on social media, an undisputed champion will finally be crowned at Lumpinee Stadium.
Though Indian-Canadian Bhullar, 37, insists he is not the underdog like everyone is labelling him.
“He’s [Malykhin] been in my life too long and it’s about time to get him out of there,” Bhullar told the Post. “It’s been a long 18 months but everything’s he’s been saying, everything his coach has been saying, everything his wife even has been saying – he is gonna have to answer for now.”
“I was in a contract negotiation with the company, trying to get my contract updated from just a normal fighter to a world champion. While we were going through that, they introduced an interim title to dress him up and make him pretend like he’s a champion and go out there and act like a clown.
