ONE Championship returned to action at Lumpinee Stadium on Saturday morning in Bangkok, Thailand, with two title fights headlining a stacked card.
Chingiz Allazov successfully defended his ONE featherweight kickboxing title against longtime rival Marat Grigorian in a thrilling main event, earning a unanimous decision from the judges.
In the ONE Fight Night 13 co-main, strawweight MMA champion Jarred Brooks did his best as he stepped out of his comfort zone to challenge flyweight submission grappling champion Mikey Musumeci.
But “Darth Rigatoni” was too good, and got the arm bar submission with two minutes and change remaining.
Perhaps the biggest cheers of the morning came for the home hero Tawanchai, who made a successful kickboxing debut in the promotion.
ONE’s flyweight Muay Thai champion earned a third-round KO against Davit Kiria, after seemingly breaking his arm with a vicious kick.
Earlier on Saturday, former bantamweight MMA champion John Lineker rebounded with a last-gasp TKO against Kim Jae-woong, after missing weight again.
