Adrian Lee makes his professional debut on Saturday morning when he faces Antonio Mammarella at ONE 167, but while the 18-year-old is a newcomer in the ring, he will be in an environment he is more than familiar with.

Lee, after all, comes from a well-known mixed martial arts family: elder sister, Angela, retired as the reigning ONE Championship atomweight champion last year while his elder brother, Christian, still holds the lightweight and welterweight titles.

Sadly, there was another up-and-coming sibling, but on Boxing Day in 2022, Victoria Lee took her own life.

She was just 18 and had already won all her three fights for ONE Championship, and was tipped as a future atomweight champion.

Her younger brother says that the two of them were particularly tight bond. “Me and my sister did everything together since we’re close in age. We were always very close.”

What the Lee family has achieved in ONE Championship is remarkable and it is a legacy the youngest sibling wants to continue.
