ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong has revealed the complete line-up for the promotion’s March 17 event in Lumpinee Stadium, and he is clearly quite happy with the card his team has put together. The ONE boss revealed the show’s finalised line-up on his Facebook page on Sunday, and promised the event inside the historic Bangkok arena will be a viewership home run in Thailand. “I guarantee that ONE Friday Fights on March 17 at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium will break all viewership records in Thailand,” Chatri wrote. The March 17 card will be headlined by a lightweight Muay Thai title fight, as Dutch champion Regian Eersel defends his belt against Thailand’s Sinsamut Klinmee. It will be the pair’s second meeting in a row, after “The Immortal” defeated Sinsamut by split decision to claim the division’s vacant title late last year. While the card’s headlining attraction has been public knowledge for some time, the remainder of the line-up was a mystery until Sunday, and there are certainly some big fights to look forward to. Chief among the new additions is a strawweight Muay Thai fight between Thailand’s Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Ireland’s Ryan Sheehan. Sam-A, who previously held ONE’s strawweight kickboxing and Muay Thai titles, as well as its flyweight Muay Thai title, will be ending a two-year break from the promotion. His opponent will be making his ONE debut, but has plenty of big stage experience, having notably lost to Japanese kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in 2017. ONE flyweight kickboxing grand prix finalist Panpayak Jitmuangnon will also be in action on the card. The Thai star will take on debuting Algerian-Thai Nabil Anane, who will be making his promotional debut, in a flyweight Muay Thai bout. ONE Friday Fights 5 results: Chatri awards six bonuses at Lumpinee Bantamweight fan favourite Muangthai PK. Saenchai will be back in competition on March 17. He will take on his fellow Thai Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai. Muangthai last fought at ONE’s first event in Lumpinee in early January, when he defeated Mavlud Tupiev by decision. Kulabdam was in action at Lumpinee the following week, defeating Sangmanee PK. Saenchai decision.
