ONE Championship Friday Fights 8 line-up set with return of former kickboxing champ Alaverdi Ramazanov
- Ramazanov has not fought since losing a Muay Thai title fight against ONE legend Nong-O Gaiyanghadao in January
- Russian will look to rebound against Uzbekistan’s Mavlud Tupiev at Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, with 11 other fights also finalised for the card

The line-up for ONE Championship Friday Fights 8 is set, and the card will include the return of former bantamweight kickboxing king Alaverdi Ramazanov.
The event goes down this Friday at Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium, and will feature 12 fights contested under Muay Thai and MMA rules.
Russia’s Ramazanov, who is set to battle Uzbekistan’s Mavlud Tupiev in a bantamweight Muay Thai fight, is the biggest name set to appear on the card.
Ramazanov, 28, was last in action at ONE’s first event in Lumpinee, back in January, when he was knocked out by Thai legend Nong-O Gaiyanghadao in a failed bid for the promotion’s bantamweight Muay Thai belt.
Before that, he was riding a pair of wins over Pongsiri PK. Saenchai and Capitan Petchyindee – a first-round knockout and a split decision.
Ramazanov won the promotion’s bantamweight kickboxing title with a decision win over China’s Zhang Chenglong in late 2019. He lost the title in his first defence, suffering a knockout to Capitan – the same man he would later defeat under Muay Thai rules.
The Russian’s opponent Tupiev will be competing in his second fight under the ONE banner. He made his debut the same night Ramazanov lost to Nong-O, losing a decision to Muangthai PK Saenchai.
