ONE Championship: Chatri expects ‘an absolute banger’ as Allycia Rodrigues faces Smilla Sundell in Singapore
- Atomweight Muay Thai champion Rodrigues will look to add Sundell’s strawweight crown on September 30 at Singapore Indoor Stadium
- ‘They’re two of the best female strikers on the planet,’ says ONE Championship CEO, who also announces Mikey Musumeci vs Shinya Aoki

ONE Championship boss Chatri Sityodtong is predicting an “absolute banger” when Allycia Helen Rodrigues moves up to challenge Smilla Sundell for a second Muay Thai title at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The atomweight champion faces her strawweight counterpart at ONE Fight Night 14 on September 30, the Singapore-based martial arts promotion announced on Wednesday night.
The 18-year-old Swede Sundell, who trains out of Fairtex in Pattaya, Thailand, was set for a rematch with Jackie Buntan, whom she beat via a unanimous decision to become the inaugural champ in April 2022.
But Filipino-American Buntan withdrew from the fight last week because of a family matter, with the promotion “finding options” to keep Sundell on the card.
“Smilla versus Allycia is going to be an absolute banger between two of the best female strikers on the planet,” Chatri told the Post via text message on Thursday.

ONE Fight Night 14 will be headlined by an interim atomweight MMA title fight, with former challenger Stamp facing Ham Seo-hee.
