Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmookao finally squared off at ONE Friday Fights 34, and in the end, it was Superlek that emerged the victor.

The Thai, who missed weight for the fight by 5 pounds and thereby made himself ineligible to win Rodtang’s Muay Thai title, won the fight by unanimous decision—but it was not without controversy.

Rodtang had great success in rounds one and three, bloodying his rival with vicious elbows in close.

Superlek, however, scored the fight’s lone knockdown in round two. Rodtang protested the knockdown, but it counted on the scorecards, and seemed to cinch Superlek’s victory.
