ONE Championship boss Chatri Sityodtong wants to see a rematch between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmookao in Qatar, as debate raged over a controversial main event in Bangkok on Friday.

Superlek beat Rodtang by unanimous decision inside a fevered Lumpinee Stadium at ONE Friday Fights 34, with the result seemingly hingeing on a knockdown from the former in the second round.

“The Iron Man” – whose flyweight Muay Thai title was no longer on the line after Superlek missed weight by 5lbs on Thursday – protested as the referee gave him a standing count.

Footage appeared to show Rodtang rolling his left ankle and falling down in the corner of the ring in Bangkok after an elbow to the face from “The Kicking Machine”.

“I think I agree [it swung the fight],” Chatri told the Post after the event. “It was a half off-balance, half elbow, and Rodtang wasn’t hurt.
