ONE Championship: Liam Nolan happy with quick turnaround, as lightweight clash with Nauzet Trujillo beckons
- Weeks after beating Ali Aliev at ONE Fight Night 18, Nolan is back in action in Bangkok
- The 26-year-old Brit has a title shot in his sights, believes he is the one to take down title holder Regian Eersel

After missing the whole of 2023 Liam Nolan has been a busy man this year, and will fight for a second time on Saturday at ONE Fight Night 19.
Less than five weeks after record a unanimous decision win over Ali Aliev, the Englishman will be back in the ring, taking on Nauzet Trujillo in a lightweight Muay Thai contest.
And while some fighters prefer a longer gap between bouts, Nolan told the Post he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“This is what I wanted, to get the momentum back after some time out,” he said. “Straight back in there. I feel good off the back of that win and I’m ready to go again.
“Most people need a break after their fight but not me, I’m straight back in there.”
Despite not finishing Aliev at ONE Fight Night 18 last month, Nolan said he was pleased with the way that bout went, and the “power, speed, performance overall” gave him a platform to build on.
