Phetjeeja says potential Rodrigues fight has makings of ‘classic like Rodtang v Superlek’
She is set to return to Muay Thai after two years against Martyna Dominczak at ONE Fight Night 38

Ahead of her return to Muay Thai against Martyna Dominczak at ONE Fight Night 38 on Saturday, Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom has said her long-targeted showdown with Allycia Hellen Rodrigues could deliver a modern classic.
The Thai star, the ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing world champion, told the Post that the match-up had the potential to become the female equivalent of Superlek v Rodtang, a rivalry that defined ONE’s Muay Thai landscape in recent years.
Before she can chase that superfight, however, the 23-year-old must first overcome Poland’s Dominczak.
The rising contender is 3-1 in ONE and unbeaten since dropping to atomweight, but she enters the contest with far less ring time than Phetjeeja, who has amassed more than 200 career wins and even defeated Stamp Fairtex on points at age 15.
Returning to Muay Thai after almost two years has provided Phetjeeja with renewed motivation.
“I’m very happy to be back in Muay Thai,” she told the Post. “It has been, I think, almost two years since I last fought Muay Thai and I’m very excited to be fighting in the rules that I’m good at.”
