We’ve seen and heard it before but, for what it’s worth, Conor McGregor has claimed he is retiring from mixed martial arts – again.

“Hey guys, quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as ‘Mixed Martial Art[s]’ today,” the Irishman posted on Twitter on Monday night.

“I wish my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Colladas on me fellas!”

The 30-year-old claimed earlier on Monday he was in talks to fight again in July, so his second “retirement” could just be another negotiating tactic.

“We’re in talks for July. I don’t necessarily need to fight, I am set for life,” McGregor said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
