Conor McGregor back in spotlight as police investigate reported fight with fellow drinker in a Dublin pub
- The UFC superstar is being investigated for reportedly punching a man following a heated exchange last weekend
- The Irishman recently settled a lawsuit with a fan over a phone-smashing incident outside a Miami nightclub
Conor McGregor seems to have a knack in getting himself in trouble these days with his lawyers working overtime to keep him out of jail after his latest brush with the law.
Only days after settling a legal dispute with a fan, the MMA superstar was back in the spotlight after a reported brawl with a man in a Dublin bar last weekend.
The Irish police confirmed that there was an altercation in the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh, but no arrests had been made, although the case is being investigated.
According to the Irish Mirror, a drunken bar patron confronted McGregor and taunted him over his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov in his UFC lightweight title fight last year.
A source told the Irish Mirror that McGregor was being a “show off” in the pub and the man didn’t like it, with another source saying the man told the Irish fighter, “the Russian battered you” before McGregor became aggressive.
