One Championship: Sage Northcutt knocked out cold in 29 seconds by Cosmo Alexandre on debut in Singapore
- Brazilian veteran Cosmo Alexandre beats former UFC star with his first punch
- American Northcutt hit with monstrous overhand right in first round

“Super” Sage Northcutt was the latest big-name former UFC star to debut in One Championship, and the American suffered an embarrassing knockout by Cosmo Alexandre after just 29 seconds in Singapore on Friday.
The 23-year-old had been touted as a future “global phenomenon” by One CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong earlier in the week. But the Team Alpha Male fighter fell flat on his face after 37-year-old Alexandre’s first punch in the first round at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The decorated kick-boxer connected with a monstrous overhand right to Northcutt’s left eye after less then half a minute.
Northcutt’s legs buckled and on his way down he was hit with another hard left as the referee scrambled to step in.
Alexandre, a seven-time world kick-boxing champion who hadn’t fought MMA since 2016, sank to his knees after his shocking win.
