Hong Kong’s Lee Ho-ching into last 16 of Rio Olympics table tennis – but next up is the reigning champ

Lee will take on China’s Li Xiaoxia next

Hong Kong’s Lee Ho-Ching reached the last 16 of the women’s table tennis singles on Day 3 of the Rio Olympics with a comfortable win over Tetyana Bilenko of Ukraine.

Lee, world No.24, was rarely troubled as she took the match 4-1 (11-8, 12-10, 9-11, 13-11, 11-6).

But next up for Lee (7am Tues HK time) in round 4is an extremely tough task against China’s Li Xiaoxia, the world No.4 and reigning Olympic champion.
