Another medal for Hong Kong at Asian Athletics Championships as relay team bags bronze
Two more medals on offer on Sunday in India
Hong Kong bagged another medal at the Asian Athletics Championships in India as the men’s 4x100m relay team won bronze.
The team of So Chun-hong, Tang Yik-chun, Ng Ka-fung and Tsui Chi-ho finished in 39.53 seconds at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India.
China edged out Thailand for gold in a photo finish, both teams finishing in 39.38sec.
It was the fourth consecutive Asian Championships at which the 4x100 team have medalled.
High jumper Cecilia Yeung Man-wai won silver earlier in the week.
On Sunday, Chan Ming-tai will be looking to medal in the final of the long jump, while Ricky hui wai-hei competes in the javelin
Elsewhere on Saturday, Lui Lai-yiu was seventh in the women’s 100m hurdles in 13.89sec.
