NFL Super Bowl LV: channel, preview, time, odds, teams and half-time show for Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Tom Brady lines up for 10th appearance in NFL season finale aiming to stop Patrick Mahomes making it back-to-back wins
- The show will go on in Tampa despite Covid-19 with last year’s champions considered the favourites

Reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa where they will meet the Buccaneers, the first team in Super Bowl history to play in their home stadium and one that was at the bottom of the standings a season ago.
The Chiefs are led by Patrick Mahomes and he goes head to head with the Super Bowl legend Tom Brady – this is the 43-year-old’s 10th appearance in the NFL showpiece, twice as many as second-placed John Elway.
It was Brady’s Patriots that were the last team to win back to back Super Bowls and it his him, with his new team having swapped the Pats for the Bucs ahead of this season, that can stop Mahomes.
One of the two quarterbacks has to pick up another Super Bowl ring but there are plenty of other stories in the background – from first female ref Sarah Thomas to Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill refusing to give up on his Tokyo 2020 dream – as the NFL season finale plays out against the backdrop of America’s fight against Covid-19.
