There will be two familiar faces heading to the final of the CrossFit Games in California, and some new ones vying for the title.

Four-time champion Mat Fraser won the online competition, followed by Noah Ohlsen. Both are Games veterans and came first and second last year, exchanging the lead throughout the 2019 Games.

Following them is 21-year-old Justin Medeiros, who is a Games rookie from the US. In fourth is Samuel Kwant (US) and the final spot goes to Canadian Jeffrey Adler.

Fraser said he felt good heading into the competition for the most part. “There were some curveballs ... there were some events that I was nervous for.”

For the online competition, 30 men and 30 women were vying for five spots each to head to California from October 19 to 25 for the in-person final.
