Rich Froning finds himself on the hunt for new teammates again to fill out his Mayhem Freedom dynasty team.
The 33-year-old four-time individual CrossFit champion has lost all three of his teammates from last season, including Scott Panchik, who is heading back to individual competition.
“I think this is the first time we’ve replaced all three people except for me,” said Froning on an Instagram post. “Still here, can’t get rid of me, not yet at least.”

Panchik posted a video this week with a simple caption reading “individual”. He joins Tasia Percevecz and Chyna Cho who have also left Mayhem Freedom. The team won Strength in Depth in London in early 2020, as well as Wodapalooza, and looked primed to win the 2020 CrossFit Games before it was axed because of the pandemic.
The move is most likely due to new rules for the Affiliate Cup as announced in CrossFit’s 2021 rule book, which states that all team members must be part of the same affiliate and live within 100 miles. Panchik lives in Ohio and Cho is based in California.
