Torian Pro: who will win Australia’s 2021 CrossFit Games semi-final event?

Three men, women and teams from Australia and New Zealand are looking to book coveted spots at the 2021 CrossFit Games.

The Torian Pro, which kicks off 7am will have its first of three days of competition concluding at 4:45pm. The event features athletes from the Oceania region, which is primarily made up of athletes from Australia and New Zealand.

The men’s side is likely to see a four-man race for three spots. The top three men, women and teams from each division will advance to the 2021 CrossFit Games, which are set to take place in Madison, Wisconsin from July 27 to August 1 at the Alliant Energy Centre.

The games will feature 20 men, 20 women and 20 teams, and there will be nine semi-final events, five of which will be live (pending Covid-19 restrictions).

James Newbury, Jay Crouch, Royce Dunne and Khan Porter will all be vying for the top qualifying spot, or one of three leftover places at the Last Chance Qualifier virtual competition that will take place after the final three of 10 semi-finals go off from June 18-20.
