Paris Olympics 5 to watch on day 7: World Cup final ‘rematch’, China in pool, court action

When you talk about the most prestigious prizes in sport, the conversation could well include the ones fought over in football, track and field, tennis and golf.

Now, one of those sports would be classed as essential to the Olympic Games and its spirit, and three of them possibly wouldn’t or shouldn’t.

What they all have, though, is mass appeal, so we can predict that it’s another day to look forward to in France, because they feature prominently on the Paris Games’ seventh full day.
