Rich Tapestry and Go Baby Go will both go into the Group One Longines Hong Kong Sprint fresh after let-ups and the duo were given an easy turf trial at Sha Tin Tuesday morning.

Although not asked to break any records, both sprinters moved well through the 1,000m heat, cruising untouched to the line half a length apart in a speedy time of 59.6 seconds.

Rich Tapestry (Olivier Doleuze) jumped in front and stayed there, while Go Baby Go was under a firm hold by Tye Angland as he stalked the leader throughout.

Rich Tapestry goes into the Group One not having raced since a disappointing ninth in the Group Two Premier Bowl on October 27, while Go Baby Go was rested after a win in the Group Three Sha Tin Sprint Trophy on October 1.

Since then trainer Dennis Yip Chor-hong revealed Go Baby Go was given two weeks off in mid October to deal with a "bruised heel".
