Favourite Noble Alpha was given a dream run in midfield along the fence, shifted four deep upon straightening and finished off well to gun down the classy Sweet Orange 50m out for the win. Sweet Orange went forward to lead from gate 13 through moderate fractions, with the late-plunged Lucky Bravo parked to his outside, opened up a length advantage soon after straightening and went down fighting. He appeared underdone in his training and looks a winner waiting to happen. Voile Rouge made his run to the outside of the eventual winner, rounded the final bend six deep and stayed on one-paced for third. Amigo travelled worse than midfield and two deep, hit the straight to the outside of Voile Rouge and ran on OK to finish outside the placings off a big weight. Pizzazz was not suited by the pace and a no-cover trip behind midfield, but made headway down the outside. Zaidan made his run third from the rear and two deep, cornered in with one wider out and made ground. He'll come on for the run and will relish a step up in distance. Plunged late to start near favourite, Lucky Bravo sat nearly level to the outside of Sweet Orange for the lead, found little when shaken up soon after straightening and was a beaten runner 200m out. Majestic Falcon made his run at the tail end of the field, straightened four deep and only passed beaten runners late.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (101) - CYBER COLORS HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400 Meters NIGHTLIGN and LUCKY BRAVO made heavy contact at the start.

ZAIDAN was crowded for room at the start between HELENE SPIRIT and AMIGO which shifted in.

ELITE OF CHIU TON and NOBLE ALPHA bumped at the start, resulting in ELITE OF CHIU TON losing ground.

From the outside barrier, MAJESTIC FALCON was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.

At the 1200 Metres, KING OF SCOTS lost ground when crowded for room between ELITE OF CHIU TON and HELENE SPIRIT which was taken in by AMIGO (O Doleuze).

O Doleuze was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he leaves sufficient racing room for runners to his inside in future.

In this incident, ELITE OF CHIU TON made contact with the running rail.

For some distance after this, HELENE SPIRIT proved difficult to settle and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of AMIGO.

For the majority of the race, PIZZAZZ travelled wide and without cover.

NOBLE ALPHA and SWEET ORANGE were sent for sampling.
