Recap by phillip woo

Keen Wongchoy was given a positive ride in midfield and on the rails underneath the favourite G-One Winning, straightened three deep, ducked to the inside for a clear run at the 300m, swept to the lead 150m out and held on gamely for the win with a step up in distance. Short-priced favourite G-One Winning settled three back and two deep, rallied five wide upon straightening and finished up well to be a clear second off a big weight. He may be looking forward to a mile distance. Holy Mac travelled behind midfield and on the fence, came one off when steadying briefly at the 600m, cornered in with two wider out and just out-dashed Plentiful by a bob of the heads for third. He's overdue for a win. Plentiful eventually settled third from the rear and one off the fence, cornered in widest out and was running on with purpose late. Eight Plus Nine was swamped 100m out for a placing, while Prolific Champion enjoyed the box-seat run, but kept on one-paced. Well-backed late, Super Goodies settled one-out, one-back, was under the whip to pick up rounding the final bend and was giving way badly over the final 150m. Aerosa was stopping 200m out.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (503) - DEEP BAY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400 Meters SUPREME KNIGHT was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, KEEN WONGCHOY was steadied when crowded for room between SUPER GOODIES and G-ONE WINNING, both of which shifted ground.

After the 1200 Metres, EIGHT PLUS NINE got its head up on a number of occasions and proved difficult to settle when being steadied to race outside the lead.

Passing the 700 Metres, KEEN WONGCHOY got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed close to the heels of PROLIFIC CHAMPION.

Near the 600 Metres, HOLY MAC was steadied away from the heels of G-ONE WINNING.

Rounding the Home Turn, SUPER GOODIES got its head on the side and lay out.

From on straightening until passing the 200 Metres, G-ONE WINNING got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride.

A veterinary inspection of AEROSA after the race revealed that the horse had bled from both nostrils.

A veterinary inspection of SUPER GOODIES after the race did not show any significant findings.
