Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Felarof enjoyed the dream run along the fence in fourth, slipped through along the inside to lead at the 200m and edged clear for a comfortable first win at his 10th start in his dirt debut. Perfect Joy finished up nicely to grab a placing with some late-market support. Plunged late, Solar Up swung the final bend with two wider out and showed an initial burst in the straight, before peaking 100m out. Suisse D'Or made his run in midfield and two deep, cornered in five wide and made up some ground without menacing. Classic Boy was ridden to be amongst the leaders, before taking the sit in second at the 1,200m, cornered in three deep and came up flat in the final 100m. Towering Storm whacked on one-paced with every chance, despite a drop in grade and switch to the dirt. Top Dragon took off at the 600m, swung the final bend widest out and never was a factor with a ton of money late. Toy Story travelled effective one-out, one-back in the run, straightened five wide and was struggling under the whip at the 200m. Rainbow Seeker ducked to the inside at the 200m and found nothing.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (622) - URANUS HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650 Meters SOLAR UP began very awkwardly and was very slow to begin.

SUISSE DOR began awkwardly.

AMAZING JOURNEY and HEALTHY MANNER were crowded for room at the start between TOWERING STORM which was taken in by TELECOM SUPREMO and FELAROF which got its head on the side and shifted out.

PEGASUS SUPREME travelled wide and without cover until after the 800 Metres at which time it was able to shift in to a position one horse off the fence.

When PEGASUS SUPREME shifted in, this resulted in SOLAR UP being left racing wide and without cover after the 800 Metres.

Near the 700 Metres, SOLAR UP was awkwardly placed outside the heels of TOY STORY which shifted out after being brushed by FELAROF.

Passing the 200 Metres, CLASSIC BOY was momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of PERFECT JOY which got its head on the side and shifted out.

Passing the 100 Metres, TOWERING STORM was momentarily awkwardly placed outside the heels of CLASSIC BOY.

A veterinary inspection of TOY STORY and RAINBOW SEEKER after the race did not show any significant findings.

FELAROF and PERFECT JOY were sent for sampling.
