Recap by phillip woo

Continuing a leaders' track run, Pegasus Supreme went straight to the front while clocking a slow opening 400m, cornered a length on top, drew two clear at the 200m and just held off the late surge of Fortune Bravo for the win with the punters' money spot on. Firming favourite Fortune Bravo enjoyed the box-seat run, straightened near three deep and was closing the margin late to make it tight at the finish. Goldmen Y Y made his run third from the rear and along the inside, straightened three deep and finished up well to snare a placing. Compact Yarn travelled one-out, one-back, straightened four deep and kept on one-paced to just hold Easy Gold by a whisker for fourth. Easy Gold settled worse than midfield and one off the rails, swung the final bend with two wider out, loomed a place hope at the 200m and kept on evenly over the last 100m. Ho Wongchoy was caught three deep in the run ahead of midfield, turned the final bend widest out and never was a factor. Happy Score rode the rails in midfield and came up flat in the stretch drive. Top Dragon settled second from the rear and three deep, was still last with two wider out at the 200m and was a disappointment.
