Recap by phillip woo

It continued to be a track in favour of runners on or up on the speed. Fortune Bravo punched forward from a wide gate to lead entering the first bend, before handing up the lead soon after to Tom's Eighth, switched into the clear four deep upon straightening and wore that rival down 100m out for back-to-back wins. Tom's Eighth went forward from gate 11 to assume the lead leaving the first bend, cornered in a length on top and went down fighting. Home With Glory settled midfield and on the rails, came to win the race two deep at the 150m and found a couple just too good in the end. Pounded late to jump favourite, Blossom Daily stayed on all right to fill the frame in fourth. Noble De Best came up just short of filling the First-4. Brilliant Chariot settled third or fourth along the inside, stayed near the inside upon straightening and kept on one-paced with every chance over the last 150m. Sunny More travelled outside Brilliant Chariot in the run, rallied five wide upon straightening and kept on evenly. He'll come on for the effort. Early favourite Diligent III was never on the track outside and behind Noble De Best in the run, straightened widest out and was being eased out of things over the final 200m.
